Adult Learning Exciting discoveries in Jewish text, prayer and cultureWe’ve inherited a vast breadth and depth of Jewish subject matter — religious, historical and cultural. At Sherith Israel, you might find yourself in an evening class studying the literature of Israel, Jewish meditation, what makes Woody Allen so quintessentially Jewish, what links Hollywood movies to Midrash or how to cook a traditional dish in a new way. Our Saturday morning Torah Study brings 25-35 people together for coffee and tea, bagels and lox, and passionate discussions. You’ll find complete details on our current adult programs in our weekly “Under the Dome” email, our quarterly newsletter and flyers in the upstairs foyer outside the sanctuary. For specific dates and times, see our calendar. Torah StudySaturdays, 9:15-10:15 am Find a whole new way — actually many new ways — to look at the Torah and Jewish thought.
