Introduction
At Sherith Israel every moment of learning enriches our lives
Our congregants can take advantage of learning opportunities at every stage of life.
- New parents introduce their babies — and often themselves — to the synagogue environment through our early childhood programming.
- Children from pre-kindergarten through high school learn basics, become involved in gemilut chasadim (acts of loving kindness) and embrace our tradition of questioning and discussing.
- Young people and adults prepare for b’nai mitzvah.
- Adults of all ages study everything from Torah and traditional texts to Hebrew, literature, prayer, music, meditation, art and cooking.
