Join the Sherith Israel family as we share warm and humorous stories of Rabbi Raphael’s 13 years of service.

FRIDAY, MAY 20 ~ Evening
7:30 pm ~ Shabbat worship and Festive oneg.  
Please note special Shabbat Worship start time of 7:30 pm.
 
SATURDAY, MAY 21 ~ Daytime 
9:15 am ~ Torah Study. Jointly led by Rabbi Larry Raphael and his brother Rabbi Marc Raphael. Catered by Town’s End Restaurant & Bakery. Free of charge, however RSVP is required. 

10:30 am ~ Shabbat Worship. Participating guests: Marilyn Price, Rabbi Marc Raphael, 
Arthur Strimling and Rabbi Gerald I. Weider. Free of charge, no RSVP required. 

Heart of the World Concert with Danny Maseng

Concert tickets are still available.

You can honor Rabbi Raphael by contributing one or more sets of the new High Holy Day prayerbooks (machzorim)—Mishkan HaNefesh—published by the Central Conference of American Rabbis (CCAR).

Ticket purchase is required.


Israeli-born Danny Maseng is a playwright, actor, singer and composer. He currently serves as chazan and spiritual leader of Makom LA, a post-denominational Jewish community in Los Angeles.

9:45 pm in Newman Hall ~ Dessert (Included in advanced concert ticket purchase)
