ANNUAL GIVING FUND
Your gift to the Annual Fund will help provide the exceptional opportunities and experiences for study, education and learning that one can only find under the dome at Sherith Israel.
Because the gifts to the Annual Giving Fund are unrestricted, the congregation can use these gifts wherever the need is greatest. Annual Fund gifts benefit every congregant in some way and ensure the growth of our congregation by providing targeted funds for:
- Our award winning preschool and parent/toddler programs that introduce new families to our congregational community and provide vital parent and child education.
- Scholarships and financial aid to help keep many families connected to the synagogue in times of stress — both economic and emotional. We provide scholarship for Religious School, adult B'nai Mitzvot, and camp programs. We make adjustments to membership dues when needed throughout the year to ensure that all of our congregants benefit from the spiritual and cultural activities in times of need.
- Capital expenditures to maintain our historic building.
- Ongoing program initiatives such as Jewish Literary programs, Jewish holiday celebrations, social action and learning lectures and workshops.
Every gift —no matter what amount — does make a difference. Your support also helps us to attract gifts from foundations and corporations.
There are a variety of ways you can give:
- A gift of cash or by credit card payment
- Appreciated stock
- Matching gifts
- A bequest, charitable remainder trust or other planned giving vehicle.
