The Annual Giving Fund provides unrestricted funds to help sustain the core programs and activities that enhance the richness of your life and of the entire congregation.

Annette Start Fund for Labe Lounge

Established by the Pollak family to maintain our Teen classroom area.

Apples and Honey Fund

A special endowment to reward teachers who have continuously taught at our religious school and to reward our Early Childhood educator

Bible and Prayerbook Fund

Used for the purchase of replacement and updated bibles and prayerbooks.

Brian Moore Erev Shabbat School Fund

Established in memory of Brian Moore to support the Friday evening religious school program.

Cantor Rita Glassman Music Fund

A discretionary fund for Cantor Rita Glassman. Donations supports musical programs and operations.

Camp Scholarship Funds

Both the Richard Pollak Fund and the Rothman/Ginsgerg Funds are used to provide scholarships to children so that they can attend Jewish summer camp programs.

Cantor Martin Feldman Synagogue Enhancement Fund

Established in honor of Emeritus Cantor Martin Feldman to support music and other synagogue programs

Caring Community Fund

Supports the efforts of our Caring Community task groups to provide a strong community within our synagogue. The Caring community volunteers provide assistance to homebound, bereaved and critically ill, welcome newcomers and acknowledge congregant simchas.

Chicken Soupers Fund

Supports the volunteer program established to provide home delivered meals to the critically ill and homebound.

Early Childhood Education Fund

Supports programs, and purchases supplies for toddler and preschool programs

Supports the ongoing volunteer run meals programs that prepare and deliver nutritious meals to the homeless at city homeless shelters every Sunday.

Joyce Levin Library Fund

Used to purchase books and videos for our adult and children's libraries.

Kolb Convalescent Fund

Supports special projects and synagogue visits to convalescent homes.

Konigsberg Garden Fund

Established in memory of Merle Konigsberg to beautify the planting areas around the synagogue.

Leisure League Fund

Provides Support for the activities of older active senior adults through the Leisure League Chavurah program.

Lifelong Learning Fund

Provides support to Jewish study programs for adults

Rabbi Larry Raphael Discretionary Fund

Provides scholarship and other assistance to congregants and to synagogue operations at the discretion of Rabbi Larry Raphael.

Rabbi Weiner Education Endowment Fund

Established in honor of Martin Weiner, Rabbi Emeritus. Interest from this fund is used to support educational programs.

Religious School Fund

Supports the operations and enrichment curriculum of the Religious School program.

Religious School Charity Fund

Supports the Mitzvah activities that are completed by Religious School students throughout the year. Donations are also made by religious school students to this fund as an understanding of the value of tzedakah.

Sucherman/Horn Fund

Designated by consent of the donor to assist in various areas of need at the synagogue throughout the year.

Synagogue Preservation Fund

The annual interest from this endowment helps to provide support for the maintainence of CSI's historic building

William Goldman Book Club Fund

Established in memory of William Goldman II to provide rewards for the participants in the summer children's book club program.
