HOW TO HELP
The world rests on three things, on the Torah, on worship and on acts of loving kindness.
(Pirke Avot 1:2)
Program and membership fees support only a part of the funds needed for Congregation Sherith Israel to provide clergy, study, religious education and programs to more than 750 member families and hundreds more in the wider community who attend programs and activities of special interest. In order for our synagogue to continue providing high quality, value-based programs, and to keep them affordable to all families, regardless of economic and cultural circumstance, additional support must come from concerned individuals, corporations and foundations. Our community must invest today so that future generations can grow up in strong community of Jewish tradition and learning.
YOUR FINANCIAL GIFT — AN INVESTMENT
There are many ways that members and our supporters can financially contribute to the congregation. In addition to an annual dues commitment members may contribute to our Annual Giving Fund, to a variety of designated funds that support different aspects of synagogue life, through planned giving programs. For information about any of these opportunities to make a tax-deductible contribution, please contact Nancy Drapin 346-1720 Ext 30.

SPECIAL EVENTS
Special events are an important source of funding for our programs. Our religious school and Early Childhood programs offer several events throughout the year. These events include Art Fairs, concerts, study programs, holiday celebrations.
GIFT SHOP
Another fundraising entity of our synagogue is our Gift Shop. The Gift Shop is always in need of quality volunteers especially for Rosh Hashanah, Chanukah, and Passover holiday sales. When you need a gift for a Bar or Bat Mitzvah, wedding, or even just a house gift, don't forget to check out the Judaica at our gift shop. If you need holiday cards, wedding or any invitation for a simcha, our gift shop offers a wide selection of personalized cards.
