Thank you for renewing your membership. Annual membership dues make up nearly half of our annual budget. Our congregation exists because of the care, commitment and generosity of members like you.

As our community grows and the needs of our congregation evolve, so too does the responsibility of caring for Sherith Israel together. Our projected 2026 operating budget is $2 million - an investment in vibrant programming, pastoral care, meaningful worship and long-term strength of our community.

We welcome membership dues commitments at whatever amount is meaningful and sustainable for your household. You can set up a monthly donation, make an annual gift, use appreciated stock, your IRA or DAF. Please call our office with any questions.

Our 2026 base membership rates are:

Couples and families: $3,050

Individuals 26 and over: $2,220

Associate members (those affiliated with another synagogue): $1,550

Many members generously contribute above the suggested amount each year, and we cannot overstate how meaningful that support is. Contributions beyond the requested level help close the gap between dues and actual costs, allowing us to remain a community where membership is never determined by income and where everyone is welcomed with dignity and respect.
