Announcement about Rabbi Julie Saxe-Taller's depature

From Evan Kletter, President, CSI Board of Trustees

Dear Fellow Congregants:

I am writing to let you know that after thirteen years at Sherith Israel, Rabbi Julie Saxe-Taller will be leaving us at the end of her contract in June. Rabbi Saxe-Taller leaves a wonderful legacy, grounded in social justice, spirituality and community building.

Rabbi Saxe-Taller, who has been here for her entire rabbinate, recently told our board that she has loved all of her time with us and that she is glad to have been part of the clergy transition this past year as we welcomed Rabbi Jessica Graf and Cantor David Frommer to CSI. But now that the transition is complete, she is ready to grow in a new direction.

We are planning a special Shabbat farewell for Rabbi Saxe-Taller on Friday, May 12; please save the date. Please join me with your fellow congregational members in thanking Rabbi Saxe-Taller for her wonderful guidance these past thirteen years.
