At Sherith Israel Preschool, we spend 2-3 hours of our day outdoors (rain or shine), exploring Lafayette Park and other local neighborhood areas to actively connect with the community. We infuse Jewish values into our daily routines, beginning our day with blessings over food and friendship. In instances of extreme weather, we find shelter within one of the many spaces in the temple house building.
 

Enrollment Options

• Our preschool program typically runs from August to May 
• Our preschool is open to children ages two to five years old
• We are open 8:30 am-5:30 pm Monday-Thursday and 8:30 am-5:00 pm on Fridays (observance of Shabbat) 
• Half-day and Full day options
• Aftercare Option 3:30-5:30 pm
• Registration for summer camp opens to currently enrolled families and Sherith Israel members in January 2025 and to the public in February 2025.

For the 2025-2026 school year, children must be two years old by their start date. We offer full- and part-time options to accommodate diverse needs. Aftercare depends on the availability of our staff.
