The Heart of the World concert is a spiritually uplifting tapestry of Jewish music with a message of Tikkun Olam — repairing the world. The music blends ancient melodies with original compositions, popular Israeli songs and liturgical gems. Sung in Hebrew, English, Russian and Ladino, the Heart of the World concert reflects the cultural mosaic of the Jewish people. 

When Danny is not touring or appearing on Broadway or TV, the charismatic Israeli-American singer and composer serves as chazzan and spiritual leader of Makom LA in Los Angeles. 

The concert highlights a weekend honoring the retirement of Sherith Israel’s ninth senior rabbi, Larry Raphael, after 13 years at the 165-year-old Reform congregation.
