At Sherith Israel every moment of learning enriches our lives
At Sherith Israel we love to learn. We treasure our synagogue as the place where we transmit our values and wisdom to future generations and as a place where we continue to learn throughout our lives.
Parents introduce their children—and often themselves—to the synagogue environment through our early childhood programs. Students from pre-kindergarten through high school learn basics, become involved in tikkun olam (repairing the world) and eagerly embrace our tradition of questioning and discussing.
At Sherith Israel both young people and adults prepare for b’nai mitzvah. And adults of all ages study everything from Torah and traditional texts to Hebrew, literature, prayer and music. Whatever your age, this is a good place to grow Jewishly.
