Disco Gold Rush Gala -- Thank you!!
It was quite a night indeed - fabulous outfits, schmoozing, noshing, dancing, auctioning off Manischewitz wine! To see our community in glittery Gala garb click HERE for the professional photographer photos, click HERE for the photo booth photos.
The party doesn’t have to stop with the Gala, we still have a few spaces left for the Count-Me-In event “Concert & Cocktails” on September 6th, with a special performance by our own Jonathan Dimmock and the High Holy Days soloist. LINK FOR DETAILS.
A bit of kvelling about some people who helped make the Gala possible:
- Thank you to our Cookie Baking Affinity Group including Nancy Sheftel Gomes, Sarah Pelzner and of course rugelach maker extraordinaire Ruth Auerbach.
- Thank you to the set up volunteers Stacie Katz, Debra Katz, Rebecca Bayrer and SITY (Sherith Israel Temple Youth). FYI, those kids can really sell raffle tickets, too!
- Thank you to the Hills of Eternity board members who sponsored the bar, greeted us with champagne, added to the Disco-vibe and created the signature cocktail!
- Thank you to Sean Dodge for donating all the wine for the second year in a row!
- Thank you to Gordon Gladstone for serving as the auctioneer!
- Thank you to the Sherith Israel staff for helping coordinate, set up, break down, clean up and much, much more!
