Upon arrival, please contact staff for admittance by using intercom by front office of temple house or ringing night bell after business hours.
Our office is open 10 am-6 pm Monday-Friday. Extended hours are listed on our events calendar. If you are not attending an event, tour or meeting, please contact us to make an appointment.
Parking:
We do not have a parking lot, however there are 10-minute passenger drop off zones on California St. in front of the synagogue (white curbs). Please do not use white zone with cones beside them during preschool operating hours unless you are a parent or authorized pickup person. Free street parking is available in the neighborhood with 2 hour limits and metered parking spots near Fillmore. Please pay attention to the street sweeping schedule wherever your park.

CMPC Garage at the corner of Clay and Webster. Open 24/7, $35 daily max.
Pacific Professional Building at the corner of Sacramento and Webster. Check their hours, $35 daily max.
Steiner Lot across from Mollie Stones on California near Fillmore (metered Monday-Saturday).
Public Transit:
Our neighborhood is accessible by MUNI bus lines 1 (closest stop at Sacramento & Webster), 2, 22, and 38/38R. These bus lines have transfer points at the following Bart stations: Embarcadero (1), Montgomery (2, 38/38R) and 22 (16th Street Mission) and the Salesforce transit center (38/38R).
Accessibility:
There is a handicap spot on Webster St. on the corner California St. For wheelchair access, please enter through Newman Hall, as there are steps leading into the main entrance of the temple. Please call 415-346-1720 to request access if outer gate is locked. There is an elevator leading to the sanctuary (2nd floor) and balcony level (3rd floor) and a ramp down to the temple's administrative offices, Bart Hall and Chapel (1st floor). The preschool (second level of Newman Hall) is not handicap accessible.
Driving Directions
From the East Bay:
- Take I-80 W toward San Francisco across the Bay Bridge (toll)
- Take exit 1B to merge onto US-101 N
- Follow signs towards Golden Gate Bridge
- Exit Octavia Street
- Continue straight on Octavia Street
- Turn left on Fell Street
- Turn right on Webster Street

From the North Bay:
- Head south on US-101 S across the Golden Gate Bridge (toll).
- Take the US-101 S exit toward Lombard Street
- Merge onto Richardson Ave/US-101
- Follow US-101 onto Lombard Street
- Turn right on Divisadero
- Turn left on California Street

Driving from the South Bay:
- Take US-101 N
- Follow signs towards Golden Gate Bridge
- Exit Octavia Street
- Continue straight on Octavia Street
- Turn left on Fell Street
- Turn right on Webster Street

- Follow signs towards Golden Gate Bridge
- Exit 19th Avenue (stay in left lanes)
- Follow 19th Avenue through Golden Gate Park (becomes Park Presidio Blvd.) to California Street
