Congregation Sherith Israel is a gem of turn of the century San Francisco and one of the most beautiful worship spaces in Northern California (and beyond).

We offer public tours (walk-ins welcome) on Wednesdays at 2pm or by appointment. Learn the history of this Beaux Arts masterpiece designed by Albert Pasis, featuring the most famous stained glass windows in a synagogue- cited in works on history of Jews in America, San Francisco and elsewhere.
