Hachutzah
Sunday, October 16, 2016 • 14 Tishrei 5777
9:45 AM - 1:00 PMLulav Making and Walk the Bridge with Women Wage Peace (all are welcome)
RAIN NOTE: Please dress for rain and don't let it stop you from coming! We will shorten the walk depending on the weather.
As part of Hachutzah, a series of outdoor CSI events, we will make our own lulavim from local flora to shake for Sukkot. And we will participate in a walk on the Golden Gate Bridge in support of Women Wage Peace, a diverse, non-partisan Israeli women’s group (womenwagepeace.org.il/en/). Meet at Sherith Israel (9:45 am sharp) and carpool to Golden Gate Bridge Welcome Center (or meet CSI group there at 10 am). Note: Children of participating Sunday School parents should sign up for the after school Sukkot program. More info: Rabbi Julie Saxe-Taller, rabbijst@sherithisrael.org.
The word Hachutzah means ‘outward’ or ‘heading out.
Information: Rabbi Julie Saxe-Taller, 415.346.1720, x25, or rabbijst@sherithisrael.org.
