Rabbinic intern George Altshuler will lead a three-session class on the heart of Rabbi Abraham Joshua Heschel’s influential book God In Search of Man. We will study Heschel’s concepts of awe and radical amazement and how these concepts form the bedrock of his theology. Heschel, who was a leader in the Civil Rights Movement, was one of the most important Jewish thinkers of the twentieth century.
