This divisive election cycle has saddened and challenged us, and its result has surprised us.  We have known for a long time that a lot of healing would be needed following the election, no matter what the result was. We want to begin that healing by coming together, as Jews always have. As a community, we know that connecting with each other and taking action toward our visions of the world in which we want to live are sources of hope and healing. Lo alecha hamelacha ligmor — Pirkei Avot teaches us that the task is not ours to finish, but neither are we free to turn away from it.
