Purim Carnival & Spiel

9:30 AM - 1:00 PMShake your groggers and strut your inner Mordechai or Esther at our annual Purim festivities!
9:30–11 am: Sherith Littles Purim Carnival
Preschoolers and families with children 5 and under will have the run of the Purim carnival in Newman Hall. Preschoolers and families with children 5 and under are invited to dress up, sing with Cantor David Frommer, eat hamentashen and play fun games. Cosponsored by Jewish Baby Network SF and PJ Library.
10–11 am: Purim Spiel in the Sanctuary
11 am–1 pm: Purim Carnival for all ages in Newman Hall
Carnival proceeds support SITY, Sherith Israel’s teen youth group. Join us and support our terrific young people!
Carnival tickets may be exchanged for games and food.
Suggested purchase of 50 carnival tickets for $20 per family
Tickets available at the door for $.50 per ticket

Join Rabbi Julie Saxe-Taller and members of Sherith Israel to learn a framework for understanding the role of antisemitism in our society and to build our capacity to address it together. -
