Tu B'Shvat in the Presidio

1:00 PM - 4:00 PMInspiration Point, Arguello Blvd, The Presidio, San FranciscoJoin us for a guided walking tour honoring the oldest trees in San Francisco. Participants will hike along trails and take in the natural artistry of sculptures by Andy Goldsworthy scattered throughout the park. Celebrate our kinship with trees through hiking, poetry, meditation, storytelling, breathing, song and the remarkable landscape art of Andy Goldsworthy.

Participants will begin hike with a visit Spire, a natural sculpture by Andy Goldsworthy [pictured left] and conclude with a visit to Wood Line [pictured right]. Meet at Inspriation Point. 2.5 mile loop, guided by vocalist, poet, and activist David Samas.
GRAMMY winner David Samas is a composer, conceptual artist, ecological advocate, poet, storyteller, mystic, and farmer native to San Francisco who had his religious education and Bar Mitzvah in the Sherith Israel community. He spent many years in forestry and permaculture learning to understand the subtle language of plants and how we can strengthen our connections to the magic of the natural world.
Bring your own water, snacks, and umbrella in case of rain.
