Women's March

Saturday, January 21, 2017 23 Tevet 5777

2:45 PM - 6:00 PM

We are called by our tradition to be rodfei shalom, pursuers of peace, and shomrei adamah, guardians of the earth, and to engage in the welfare of our cities and country. Therefore, along with groups nationwide, we invite you to join in the local, non-partisan San Francisco Women's March, expressing our solidarity with fellow citizens and our commitment to the Jewish and American values of human rights, civil liberties, pluralism, and compassion for our shared humanity. We are marching and working for justice, respect and inclusion for all.

All are invited to join Rabbi Saxe-Taller and many others from the Jewish community for the San Francisco Women's March this Saturday, 1/21.

We will meet on the Grove St steps of City Hall at 2:45 PM and go to the march together. The Rally includes speakers, music and art from 3-5pm. The march begins at 5pm. Between 3-5pm during the rally, we will try to stay near the Supreme Court Building so that people can find us. The candle lit march walks from the Civic Center to Market Street and ends at Justin Herman Plaza.

Bring rain gear, water, snacks and a sandwich as well as a contained candle, lighter, and/or flashlight if you'd like.
