Intermediate Hebrew
Prayerbook Hebrew with Noa Levy
Sundays, 11 am-noon beginning November 5, 2023 on Zoom
Join our Hebrew learner community as we dive into an intermediate language class to better understand the prayers & blessings of the Siddur. Learn essential vocabulary and Hebrew grammar basics to better understand and explore new meanings behind our ancient texts.
This is the second level of Hebrew instruction at Sherith Israel designed for students who completed our Introductory Hebrew class or are already familiar with the Hebrew Aleph Bet.
About the instructor: Sherith Israel's cantorial soloist Noa Levy is a professional vocalist born in Jerusalem with extensive experience in language instruction. Since moving to the Bay Area, Noa became deeply involved in the Jewish community as a teacher and a diverse singer.
