We invite you to join us on February 25 at 9:30am for a special Cousins Like Us family activity for our 1st-3rd grade families. We will begin with a bagel breakfast together with the rest of Studio, followed by community t'filah and then a family program with students and parents of the 1st-3rd grade classes. It is a great opportunity to learn alongside your kids and strengthen our community! We would love for you all to join!

Walk of Remembrance

Although the ancient archetypal labyrinth is generally associated with churches and cathedrals, there is no reason it cannot be used for Jewish ritual as well. Only a few blocks from Sherith Israel, the nation’s first labyrinth at a medical facility awaits us. We will gather at CPMC Pacific Heights Outpatient Center (2333 Buchanan Street and Clay Street) at the outdoor labyrinth. After a brief introduction we will have the opportunity for a group walk on the labyrinth. Labyrinths provide an opportunity for contemplative meditation. The quiet, circular movement is a wonderful way to remember and honor those we have lost. Facilitated by Susan Borkin, an advanced labyrinth facilitator and trainer and Rabbi Graf.
