Sherith Israel is traveling to Arizona to participate in an experiential learning opportunity to explore the difficulties of migration and life on the U.S./Mexico border and continue the fight for migrant justice. While we are at Borderlinks.org we will study the issues and hear stories from immigrants who have crossed the border. We will hike the trails used by immigrants, learn how NAFTA and the maquiladoras impacted lives on both sides of the border. There will be opportunities to meet people in their homes while sharing meals and hearing stories.

Participants need to arrive in Tuscon for the program by 8PM on Sunday evening. 
We will leave on Friday morning to return to San Francisco before Shabbat.

We ask that you make a $200 deposit to hold your spot. The total cost (apart from travel) is $800. Financial aid is available by contacting Nancy Sheftel-Gomes (Nsheftelgomes@gmail.com).
