Do you enjoy movies? Would you like to share exciting discussions about films with other Sherith Israel Members?
 

We invite you to become a participant in a Movie Group at this welcoming introductory meeting with Rabbi Martin Weiner, Michael Moss, Margaret Scheinman, and Lynn Sedway as they help orient congregants to form new movie groups beginning in the Fall. Coffee, tea and desserts will be served along with a chance to discuss a famous movie scene. Open to all Sherith Israel Members.

 

Movie group participants meet member’s homes or restaurants for screenings and discussion. Each year, participants sign up to be a discussion leader or host for one meeting. The discussion leader chooses a current film. Participants see the film before the meeting. The host provides a meal for the group. Over the years our movie group has inspired close friendships and warm delightful discussions.
