Our current political moment is forcing an existential question on the future of our democracy as institutions and ideals are being undermined and dismantled. At this year's Rabbi Martin Weiner Memorial Lecture, Rev. Paul Brandeis Raushenbush will honor Rabbi Weiner's legacy with a talk entitled: The Brandeis Family: A Dedication to Democracy.
Rev. Paul Brandeis Raushenbush will be highlighting his family's contributions to American democracy guided by the wisdom and examples from the extraordinary collection of individuals that inspired and surrounded his great-grandfather, Justice Louis D. Brandeis and shaped American democracy for the 20th century. These individuals' contributions are as relevant and needed today as they have ever been and offer a call to fight for democracy in our time as they did in theirs.
