Saturday, September 11, 2021 • 5 Tishrei 5782
10:00 AM - 12:00 PMTennessee Beach, MarinFamilies, breathe easy this High Holiday season by joining us outdoors to celebrate the Jewish New Year! On Shabbat Shuvah, the "Shabbat of return" between Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur, we will gather in Tennessee Valley to revel in the splendor of nature, reflect on our past year and prepare for the new year. Families will meet at the trailhead for some kid-friendly communal learning and prayer, and then embark on a self-guided, gentle 3.5 mile round-trip hike, with stops along the way to explore High Holiday themes of attention and reflection through multi-sensory activities. We also encourage you to bring lunches and join us for a picnic on the beach!
Please wear your walking shoes, hat and sunscreen, and don't forget to bring water. Kids accompanied by parents/guardians and adults of all ages are welcome.
