Featuring Israeli Journalist Tal Shalev and J Street President Jeremy Ben-Ami
In conversation with Rabbi Jessica Zimmerman Graf
6:30pm – Reception
7pm – Program Begins
Join Congregation Sherith Israel and J Street for a timely conversation about the profound challenges to democracy in both Israel and the United States, and the role we can all play in securing a better future for us all.
Tal Shalev, leading Israeli political correspondent and activist, will share her perspective on what’s happening inside Israel’s political system today and how it impacts Israeli society. She will also share her coverage of the Israeli protest movement and the public struggle to return the hostages and end the war in Gaza.
Tal will be in conversation with Jeremy Ben-Ami, President of J Street, who will speak about the current moment in U.S. politics, how Israel and America’s futures are profoundly linked together, and how American Jews can make a difference during these challenging times.
We hope you can join us for this important discussion. Together, we’ll explore how we can work across borders to support a shared vision of peace, justice, and freedom. We’ll also reflect on the ways American Jews can play a meaningful role in shaping the future in the Middle East while navigating a complex and unprecedented political era here at home.
