Yom Ha'atzmaut: Israel@75: A Bay Area Community Festival
Sunday, April 30, 2023 • 9 Iyar 5783
11:00 AM - 3:00 PMSan Mateo County Event Center
This year, the celebration of Israel@75 is themed "Israel as an impact nation," and we are proud to partner with a variety of Israeli and Jewish organizations from all around the Bay Area.
The festival will offer a range of activities and performances suitable for all ages.
Adults can enjoy raffles throughout the day, an Israeli fashion show that exhibits the nation's cultural evolution, a marketplace of Israeli and Jewish non-profits, schools and congregations, an art exhibit of local artists, whiskey tasting, roundtable conversations on Israel today and so much more.
Our headliner this year is Avraham Tal and Band. We'll also enjoy performances by the San Francisco Gay Men's Chorus, as well as local bands, singing groups, dance and theatre groups and school performances.
Enjoy the Israeli Expo where you will experience hi-tech innovations and the Hi-Tech Beer Garden Networking space.
Would you like to take a break from the outdoor festival? Come inside and enjoy short Israeli films.
There will be bouncy houses, slides, arts and crafts stations and more.
And finally, food: We will be offering a variety of food trucks, including Israeli/Jewish/Kosher options like hummus, Shawarma, falafel and more.
We're looking for volunteers who are interested in taking part in the preparations leading up to the event as well as during the festival. We have a wide range of roles available. If you're interested in volunteering, please fill out this form and register as a volunteer and we'll be in touch. We also welcome teenagers to join us and receive credit for their volunteering hours

Friday, Nov 14th 6:00p to 8:30p
Our teens have the unique opportunity for dining & dialogue with our Rabbis. These dinners provide a deeper connection with our Rabbis and a chance to explore Judaism’s perspective on topics that interest them. Last year, “relationships” emerged as their theme; courage when dealing with moral problems that teens face, loneliness, navigating friendships, and asking for forgiveness in relationships were just a few things they discussed. Friday night Teens @ Studio dinners are from 6:00-8:30 pm, immediately following our community Kabbalat Shabbat service.
