A special Studio @ Sherith Israel Open House just for preschoolers and their families. Meet other families of PK-aged kids, try out a fun Tu B'Shvat activity for kids and parents led by our fabulous PK teacher, Chloe Erdan, and enjoy lox and bagels with Rabbi Jessica Zimmerman Graf (also a proud parent of one of our preschoolers).

Join us for a Jewish celebration of nature with Rabbi Abby Phelps and a horticultural tour of the gardens with fellow congregants and friends. Snacks provided. Tickets: $15 at the door (payable to the Botanical Garden).

Congregation Sherith Israel is excited to offer the Wise Aging program developed by the Institute for Jewish Spirituality. Its focus is to provide new resources to live our later years with joy, spirit, resilience and wisdom.

Exploring Jewish Concepts and Practices

Studio's 8th grade class is spending a weekend in Los Angeles! Teens will fly to LA Friday night, settle into their VRBO in Pico Robertson and celebrate Shabbat eve together. On Saturday, teens will spend the day enjoying Universal Studios (with a little Jewish learning thrown in). On Sunday, teens will take part in the Museum of Tolerance's "Tools for Tolerance" program, including meeting and speaking with a Holocaust survivor. We'll wrap up Sunday with an educational scavenger hunt through the historically Jewish Fairfax district of LA and dinner together at Canter's Deli before flying home that night.

Jazz Talmud & The Poetry of the Jewish Experience: Poet, performer, educator and poetry critic for Tablet magazine, Jake will read poems inspired by classic and modern Jewish texts, rituals, and tropes.
