Congregation Sherith Israel is excited to offer the Wise Aging program developed by the Institute for Jewish Spirituality. Its focus is to provide new resources to live our later years with joy, spirit, resilience and wisdom.

Participants will learn to read and pronounce the letters of the Hebrew alef-bet. In addition, familiarity with the prayerbook, basic blessings and core parts of the liturgy will be provided.

4th and 5th grade Studio families are invited to celebrate Kabbalat Shabbat and enjoy a meal together. Our 4/5 group is invited to meet up in the Chapel beginning at 5:15 pm for dinner before settling into seats in the Sanctuary. During the service, families will be invited to light the Shabbat candles and students will help to lead the V'Ahavta. The service will transition directly into our family-friendly Purim spiel, after which there will be an oneg with hamentaschen.
