Studio's 8th grade class is spending a weekend in Los Angeles! Teens will fly to LA Friday night, settle into their VRBO in Pico Robertson and celebrate Shabbat eve together. On Saturday, teens will spend the day enjoying Universal Studios (with a little Jewish learning thrown in). On Sunday, teens will take part in the Museum of Tolerance's "Tools for Tolerance" program, including meeting and speaking with a Holocaust survivor. We'll wrap up Sunday with an educational scavenger hunt through the historically Jewish Fairfax district of LA and dinner together at Canter's Deli before flying home that night.

Our volunteers—adults and young people alike—prepare 100 meals that are delivered to two shelters in San Francisco. Information: Nancy Sheftel-Gomes, 415.346.1720, x28, or email Nancy.
