Participants learn to read and pronounce the letters of the Hebrew alef-bet, as well as gain familiarity with the prayerbook, basic blessings and core parts of the liturgy. No prior knowledge required. Taught by Fred Nervo.

Join us in exploring Pirkei Avot (literally, Chapters of the Fathers), an ancient text that offers timeless ethical and spiritual guidance.

Shabbat service led by Rabbi Abby Phelps. Services will be held at Sherith Israel, masks required for entry and we strongly encourage you to be vaccinated. Services will also be livestreamed.
