Studio @ Sherith Israel builds students' Hebrew skills, familiarity with Jewish practice and ideas, and social-emotional capabilities through fun projects and multi-sensory activities. We take a playful, student-centered approach to teaching, encouraging students to ask questions, express themselves authentically, and help shape their own learning.

Join our Hebrew learner community as we dive into decoding the language behind the prayers & blessings of the Siddur. Learn essential vocabulary and Hebrew grammar basics to better understand and explore new meanings behind our ancient texts.

Participants learn to read and pronounce the letters of the Hebrew alef-bet, as well as gain familiarity with the prayerbook, basic blessings and core parts of the liturgy. No prior knowledge required. Taught by Fred Nervo.

Join us in exploring Pirkei Avot (literally, Chapters of the Fathers), an ancient text that offers timeless ethical and spiritual guidance.

Celebrate Shabbat with your Littles Community! Each week we set up a new play experience, practice Shabbat rituals with Rabbi Graf and/or Cantor Toby. Come and meet the Sherith Littles team! Littles are welcome to join us for family friendly services in the sanctuary at 6 pm, children are free to move about during services.
